Sugar Mill Fabrication Firm, Ghaziabad

The story

A Ghaziabad firm erects and fabricates sugar mills, and some of its work is for export. Each job is designed and carried out on its own, so in 2019 the firm wanted a system that could cost each job separately.

The plan had two stages. First Soft.e Core, our ERP, for billing, inventory, purchase and accounts. Then Soft ERP, our larger system, which adds bill of materials, production, project management and more.

The first stage went in. Order processing and project management went live, and job-by-job cost allocation was being built when COVID stopped the project midway.

What we did

• Delivered Soft.e Core as the first stage.
• Took order processing and project management live.
• Kept financial transactions recorded and cleared separately.
• Started job-by-job cost allocation, which was in progress when the project was shelved.
