Business Intelligence Training Blog, Ohio

The story

In 2016 an Ohio educator’s business intelligence training blog was busy around the clock. Readers had left 13,000 live comments on it. It had also grown hard to manage and hard to use, and he asked us to revamp it.

The catch was the traffic. People used the blog at every hour of the day, so it could not go dark for a big relaunch.

So we changed it in small steps. Each change went live on its own, and each one only added to what readers already had. By the end, the design, the structure and the courses had all changed, and readers never lost the blog.

What we built

  • A revamp of the existing WordPress blog, with a learning management system.
  • A new design, a new structure and reworked courses.
  • A rollout in small, separate changes, so the blog stayed up for its round-the-clock readers.
